Vice President, Program, Portfolio, & Alliance Management


Jody Khouri joined HOPO Therapeutics in 2024 and leads the company’s program, portfolio, and alliance management function overseeing R&D strategy, clinical development plans, and framework of cross-functional program teams. She serves as Program Manager for HOPO’s contract with BARDA for the advanced development of HOPO-101 for actinide and heavy metal poisoning and provides oversight for HOPO’s government contract operations and infrastructure.

With more than 25 years in the pharmaceutical industry, including 20 years in R&D program and alliance management, Jody has directed drug development across multiple therapeutic areas including oncology, rare diseases, antivirals, and dermatology. She has led programs from early discovery and IND submissions through late-stage clinical trials, NDA filings, and global regulatory approvals. Prior to HOPO, Jody held the role of Global Product Manager at SpringWorks Therapeutics leading rare pediatric tumor and targeted oncology programs. At Chimerix, she directed a U.S. government–funded medical countermeasure through multiple FDA interactions to NDA submission and inclusion in the National Stockpile. Previously, she was the franchise lead for an array of antimicrobial dermatology programs at Stiefel (a GSK company).

Jody began her career as a pharmaceutical engineer in Pfizer’s Global Product Manufacturing division for six years. She holds a master’s degree and bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Cornell University.
